I would gently disagree with the idea of modernizing the Tarot. Better to try to understand the universals of human nature and society that evolved the traditional pack (and its divinatory meanings). If you want modern, sure, go cartoon.
The most significant change in your revised pack is very subtle: substituting "the lover" for The Lovers. Apparently modern "love" is divorced from caring or devotion, other than to self. Which is quite an astute observation, if intended.
