Haiga : Discussion and links

Watching justlikeyou's journey into haiga and reading ray's responses has got me thinking and googling.

In searching for translations, particularly of the waterfall, where the brush stoke seemed to join so well with the image, I came across this looking for the deer, which as a novice I found interesting.

Haiga and the world

I'm guessing Ray has other links that would be helpful.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows of a program that lets the lines float around on the image, thinking of a piece I did for NaPM that would be fun like that.

Also, tamara was active for a short time and posted some. Although ray's poems might not fit the absolute definition, anyone interested in the integration of poems and images should certainly take a look.

There is also an Ekphrasis thread in Poetry Practice and a prompt from NaPM NaPM Apr 6 2015.

This seems to me to have interesting points about the interaction and balance between poem and image.
