While your interpretation of Exodus 29:20 (see below) might vary from mine;
my suggestion would be to leave the ears alone until you've slaughtered a ram.


"You shall slaughter the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's

Actually, it was before my time, much enjoyed it, especially the unusual pregnancy.
