Take me back to the days of black and white
When decisions were Polly pockets or Little Pet Shops
Boys were bad, I'd marry Prince Charming
Take me back to coloring books and drama-free days
When tu-tus were socially acceptable and crazy outfits were adorable 'Cause they were picked out by myself
I wished I was grown and now I'd take that wish, I'd throw it away
Take me back to light pink and lavender
When we'd play school cause it was fun
Dress up like adults cause we wanted to be ladies

Sure enough here we are. Grown up.
In a world of gray with no clear decisions
Socially acceptable or is it machine normal
Not lavender now purple
School is no fun and who are the ladies

I wished I was grown and now I'd take that wish, I'd throw it away
Take me back to the days.

it really likeable. bless, even the worst of us had some similar innocences as kids, i know they were the best years of my life, one thing is cause...it's a word in it's own right if you mean because then it should be
