The Forbidden Truth

Is this inspired by the recent events of NSA leak by Snowden? I can't offer much of a critique, but from what I have learned in the last few days at PigPen, this sounds more like a commentary. Very nicely worded and definitely very robust in its structure, but the idea lacks the originality of expression, to me it sounds no different from what many of the protesters have been saying on the streets in Washington D.C.

Again, I am no expert so its possible I may have failed to see the poetic techniques and deftness. No offense.

First off, thank you for commenting. No, in actuality, this composition has nothing to do with the NSA leak. When I write poetry, I like to leave it open to interpretation to each individual that reads it. So, with that said, this poem is about whatever the reader may gather from it, and of course, it has a rather personal meaning to myself, also. Thank you again, I appreciate the feedback, and thank you for complimenting the structuring.
