Four o'clock this morning
coffee's aroma leads
again to hunger;

she's sitting, writing poetry
forever sipping herbal tea-
hoping to meet at last,
the man who's inspired
her early morning writing;

he asks to meet
for coffee soon;
four in the morning
coffee brews,
paper is aroma.
