Born/borne -- I have thought long and hard (for 32.8 seconds) about this and decided that whichever you use will be correct, as the different meanings will not actually impact on the overall imagery of the line. Whether born of or borne by brine, the tears are still leaking.

I go for spectacular...satisfaction is a just another word these days!
