I've received a 'missing you' message, I realise that it is automatically generated but nevertheless...here I am. I hit a concrete wall, poetically speaking, around Christmas time and no longer consider myself a poet. However, here is an old rondelet of mine.

I can reach out to her. I think she was finding workshopping uncomfortable. When you go through persistent creative blocks it can also be frustrating. I'll see how she's doing.
yeah, i miss granny jill; good idea Todd, tell her to post in just for fun till she feels up to posting else where.

He was very helpful to me and always had massive amounts of corny jokes to pummel me with via email . . . those were the days.

Perhaps I do not contribute as frequently as I might; perhaps I have a quick canter through anything interesting; perhaps I hold my peace. Perhaps, like General de Gaulle, I await 'L'Appel'. Perhaps I should leave, so as to revel in the pleas from the pit, for my return. You do not appreciate me, that's it. Milton understood. He and I also serve, while merely standing and waiting. Surprised about Dale --he'll be back, I think. Damn it I owe him a reply to a long thing he wrote, an IM.

Yep, Jill was a loss. P'raps, p't-etre and quizas, in addition to the work-shopping, there should be a simple show-case, identical in every way, to the other options, but without the expectation that there will be further alterations. If you finish a painting, and it gets accepted, you don't expect to paint over it-- though comments might make you do something differently next time around.

Is there a flounce emoticon? Confused
you don't need a flouncy, you executed one of your own expertly Big Grin
please please please don't go abu tongueincheek

ps, a showcase show case forum is an option.
