Fauxku Choo Choo (the play's the thing)

So long to winter’s behemoths
that violated innocent flora
asleep in their beds

"The Church of the Holy Sepulchre",
she said, "HE's still asleep,
how else the innocent..."

i used to know a lotta stuff, but i still have eight cats

Leave it to billy to get it backassward.
(Not the poem though, it's so wonderfully triple-metaphored that i peed in my pants... or was that the cat?)

innocent sheep fleeced of fleece
left only with the warmth of faith
don't worry
HE'll be here real soon

The tape was reserved for the duct,
never used on the women he fucked.
Though lacking much money
he kept them with honey,
in the best sense of the word, he sucked.

I’ve never used that term for love’s action.
It’s too crude for an act of such passion,
but if she insists on duct tape
for some fanciful escape,
I’ll follow my honey’s instruction.

Tape's fanciful pull is exaction,
its extent, its elastic distraction.
If you're stuck to the core,
then all else is a bore;
bind me tight, we've got mutual attraction.

So the fractured haiku's the attraction,
but doesn't explain the infraction.
If you're breaking the rules
just to prove we're all fools,
then you're right, this choo-choo's lost traction.

Rules from the op Smile

Quote:Your TINY poem should:

1. Use 2 or more significant words from the previous poem.

2. Echo some aspect of the previous poem (optional).

3. Contain 1 to 4 lines, or be a limerick.

4. Be a fauxku, pseudoku, otherku** (seebelow), a real haiku (not that
anyone really knows what one is), limerick, or a whatever-you-please
(e.g. metaphorically dense rhyming Nyāya Sūtra). Just make it TINY.
(And since this is fake art, TINY is not defined.)

Ah, the pivot,
where the thrashing
turns into embrace.

(sorry, broke the rules, carry on. Smile)

The rules here are like willows; they bend, but they don't break.
(Oh, ok, more like silly putty, but you get the idea.)
