It's probably not that far off from people going to see an AI generated concert.
Turn off the electricity every Thursday and make that real life real music day.

Soon we really won’t know just at the current rate of investment it is impossible to stop. Did you know what item mankind has made more of than every single other thing combined in human history?

I would never have guessed that, although it should have been obvious.
I keep thinking about Westworld the series and how far away printing a human is as a possibility and then giving it intelligence. It's not that far off.

I'm ha, 4 AM, Bette Midler's Divine Madness popped up on TMC, still hilarious. Her motto: Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.
Attempting to re-enter meter and rhyme I've read a lot of the Important Threads and Poetry Practice intros but somehow missed this one
Narrative Poetry
Great bit on effects and pitfalls.

For me it's always great when I'm spiraling down an edit, instead of slamming the laptop shut I just Fauxku to clear my head then click back to the edit. Go Ray!

My solution is to let them out later in the day as it gives them less time to misbehave. Unfortunately, the can see me through the kitchen window so everytime I pass, the rooster starts crowing like crazy - LET US OUT! he says

My neighbors have chickens. Thousands of them. I have biting flies and the smell of shit in the summer, both of which make you think twice about coming up for air in the pool. Not that I don't like chickens. I wouldn't mind a few, but I am fairly certain the outside cat named Tom would eat them and worse, as merely eating his prey is not enough for him: he must toy with it, display it, flay it, drag it, toss it and brag about it later. He is a shameless braggart. And yes, a sadist to boot. And always trying to drink the chlorine water. The feathers would surely clog up the skimmer.

what I found surprising is that cats are terrified of chickens. What I found more surprising is the reason why - a rooster will absolutely murder a cat

The picture of those thousands of chickens was worth it just to see milo squat-walking through the kitchen again.

Good Morning!
Sooooo, just a note about the Pig Pen private messaging system. In the user CP, under User Profile, Edit Options you'll find this:
Alert me with a notice when I receive a Private Message.
This is not an off-site notification, if you check it it's just a banner here so when you log in you know you have a message.
If you've joined in the last year or so you'll probably find this in there:
Hi! April is National Poetry Month in several countries. The Pig Pen celebrates our world-wide membership annually with a series of 30 daily threads each with a different prompt.
We invite all members to post a poem a day for as many days as you are able. No one expects a polished gem, just a poem loosely inspired by the prompt. Although comments are welcomed there are no critiques unless the member chooses to open a workshop thread afterwards for any favorites.
Members at any stage in their journey can partipate so if you've been writing for one month or fifty years, the NaPM threads are the place to be. Hearing all the different voices is the fun of it!
We hope you'll enjoy the writing and reading during this challenge. Happy April! -ella
Figured I'd drop it here as well for those of you who don't open PMs, I hope you'll all give it a go.

Ha, not wrong! I good morning him most days, all he has to do is delete some stuff. Or download it out. But first he has to realize it's full, maybe he thinks no one likes him today.

First, a dark roast, smash of milk and heaping spoonful of sugar, thanks.
Next, I need another ear, as usual my two are untrustworthy. Asking anyone who wants to play meter with me to drop by at Sapphic Stanza Practice Thread and let me know if you hear what I hear.
Thanks in advance, Tinman in the Rain

lol, I can't be sitting around waiting on you, when the practice threads spark something best to keep with it. Worst thing that can happen is the Pen has to help me put an abomination right, always fun. Duke jumped in, all good here. And hopefully when you say you've read through it more than once you mean the Sappho scan and not the cats on the couch. It's hard not to fall back on overly dense language on those.

Good morning Pig Pen, April is here (in some parts of the world) and the NaPM celebration has started. Don't worry about precise days/times, we live all around the world. Just write any type of poem loosely inspired by the topic of the day and post it on the thread. It's not a competition, cake for everyone.
