It makes some sense to me (I'm not talking about males being more evolved, just the Y chromosome)
From what I understand, the Y, or male version of the species, arose for the very specialized purpose of versatile and efficient sexual reproduction, i.e. to mix up the gene pool by having a mutant version of the species who in compared to the base-form female, will demonstrate a singleminded drive to have sex as much and as fast as possible. It's not so strange to think that Y-chromosomes mutate faster then given that they're pretty much geared for high-rate reproduction. Oh, and I didn't really call men mutants, or I didn't mean to ![]()
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

We are all a bunch of homo's!

yes.
actually the y chromosome says were all hetero :p it's why we evolve faster. gays are still wearing the same clothes as 40 years ago seriously poeple. @ addy i agree. we may be evoloving but we ain't smarter ![]()

I beg to differ, we are smarter. We are smart enough to know where women are better for makeing certain decissions than we are. We are smart enough to have given women what they ask for to try to keep the peice and ensure we get a peice in the future. We are smart enough to let women share the work load and make things a little easier on our selves. I'd say we are smarter all round Mr. Y proves it!

which woman told you to type that benny :p

I would say lets reserve judgement on that one and allow it. MOD

The Homo Sapien is supposed to be the current result of evolutionary progress. For most of us.
I was just being lazy when I posted We are all a bunch of homo's!
as in Homo Sapiens?
It seems you guys have gutter brains that automatically think I am referring to sexual preference. What is with you guys - uptight or something? Now back to topic... That's my story, and I am sticking to it. ![]()

I read something about men and women.
It was a whole book, but summarising, the book pointed out that men and women are not equal. Just different. It's like comparing a sock to a glove. None is better, they just serve different functions and I realised that to me makes perfect sense. ![]()

(Big object, little hole, figure it out) Men are the hunters women are the nesters. and because you can't imagine what the pain is like of childbirth its the worst pain there is? have you ever had a heart attack that lasted an hour. where you can't stand or crawl. where all you can do is lie there and let the tears trickle down your cheek. where you struggle to breathe because it feels like a steel band is slowly being tightened round your chest. where you can't even shout for help. i'd drop a kid any day sooner than go through that again. everyone is different when it comes to pain. ever had the bonnet of a car scoop out the inside or your chin as your face hit the windscreen of a car thats just ploughed into an 12 wheeler while at the same time the break peddle cuts through flesh and bone to leave your foot disconnected from the leg except for a piece of meat and skin. id have a kid any day sooner than go through that again. ever had your rib cage cut from sternum to neck so they could get at your heart. once there done they pull the ribcage apart to open you up. i'd sooner drop a kid that go through that again. ever had your breathing so bad at the age of 6 they had to cut part of a lung away so you didn't drown in your own phlegm. i'd sooner drop a kid than go through that again. yep child birth is hard and painful for many but pain thresholds. much much stronger than a woman giving birth are out their.

Women can give birth like that but it involves complications and has not been tried out for generations. You don't know if after 3 generations the children will look and think inbred. And yes giving birth may not be the most painfull thing, but the average joe does not get his ribcage cut from sternum to neck. That's why it is often described as the most painfull thing because having a baby is very usual ![]() And off-topic here: You mention you "would sooner drop a kid than go through that again. Did you actually experience all of these things?

Well I read it and seems he said he did. There is pain, the depths of which are far greater than child birth that occure on a basis and interval far far greater than child birth to both male and female alike. Has nothing what so ever to do with which sex is more evolved.

More than the rest of the fill I used in my last post that was really the point I was trying to make. Pain tolerance and the highth at which the male and female sex is at on the evolutionary scale. Does the more advanced of the two deal with pain better than the other or does it bear any weight at all in the determination of ?
Personally I say it does not and will in fact vary from subject to subject. Seeing as I am a male and the more advanced of the two then logic dictates that I am correct. ![]() |
