I looked at last year's NaPM for guidance.  So we try to write a poem and post it each day based on prompt?  Limit is just one poem per day, and commenting requirement is lifted for NaPM thread?

Yes, every day in April, CRNDLSM will post a thread in the NaPoMo forum with that day’s prompt.  The poems for that prompt must be posted in the replies to that thread.  There are no critique requirements for this section.  All members, including newbies, are welcome to participate (invite your friends!).  I don’t think there is a limit to the number of poems one poet can post per prompt?   However, it’s a bit exhausting to write a brand new poem every day, and some of the prompts can be rather demanding, so most people won’t want to post more than the one, and it’s a good idea to conserve energy at the beginning of the month to prevent burnout.
If you decide to workshop a poem from NAPoMo, you can always re-post it in the workshops at a later time, but in that case the critique requirement would be back in effect.

Got a question for whoever posted "narcolepsy-cut and paste 8 lines or more"
What do you mean by "cut and paste"?  Are we talking "cut-up" here a la William S Burroughs?

I'm an actual imposter it's not a syndrome, I think you're right, although maybe take a poem, cut out some phrases and make a new poem, if that's the burroughs thing that's what I was thinking (04-06-2021, 01:21 AM)TranquillityBase Wrote:  Got a question for whoever posted "narcolepsy-cut and paste 8 lines or more"

Quick question about no. 23: how do you tell a story backwards; do you begin with the ending and end with the beginning? Thanks.

Over half way through and kicking off the bucket brigade, are you burning out? Have you prewritten your prompts? I'm loving all the poems and non poems, thank you for the gold droppings in the sewer too...

I'm a bit tired, but that's mostly due to lack of sleep, unfortunately. Still, waking at 04:30 provides quite a lot of time for poetry as well as all the work as usual

If you're having difficulty formatting a picture, it helps to start the first line with a title or number or symbol, it holds the spot somehow

Can someone tell me where to find code for creating the "Spoiler" button?  I checked the "How to Use" section.  I see something about it from Billy but don't understand the instructions.

At the beginning of the text you want to conceal put (open square bracket)spoiler(close square bracket).  At the end of the text put (bra)/spoiler(ket).  Like this (see the codes in the edit frame):
