*Somewhat large waterbirds with medium to slightly more than medium necks,
short legs (but only when not compared to egrets and similar waterish birds who make their livings
standing around waiting for various frogs and fish and such), webbed feet (jeez now who would
have expected that), and short broad bills which are known to shrike at irregular times.

**Title version 1: < take no notice of, pay no heed to, turn a blind eye towards the horizon...geese?* >
I've changed it to version 2 (see above) because dale carped about it and I didn't want to waste
my valuable time arguing with the idiot.

Reminds me of a cartoon drawing I used to see (I'm sure you must have seen it). It was of two buzzards sitting on a telephone wire, one turns to the other one and says, "Patients my ass, I'm going to kill something!" *

*Of course the frame of reference is accurate in this one, but that is easier to do with cartoon drawings.

BTW - you're title is tooooo long. I had to shorten it so it would let me post.

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?

The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

I changed it and gave you the credit you deserve.

"Reminds me of a cartoon drawing I used to see (I'm sure you must have seen it)."

Yes. I was amused at the simulated military uniform patch (circa Vietnam War) even though
I knew that most of the people who really loved it interpreted the "kill something" as permission
to napalm civilian villagers:

The naked girl in the center has second and third degree burns on her back and arms
from napalm (jellied gasoline) dropped by a U.S. Air Force F-4 Phantom II jet fighter aircraft
during an attack on her village . The U.S. soldiers let them run away as they were children
and presented no immediate threat.

I was a soldier in the U.S. Army at that time and, while at no personal risk to myself whatsoever,
am quite proud of helping to defend the entirety of the United States of America from this child.*

*And that's the poem I deleted because I still haven't got it right.
Karma being what it is and all. How much? How little? Married and working for steady wages?
Married to a man who'll accept her scars as she was still a virgin?
My guilt, paid once a month? Tiny stuff, not that significant compared to what I've done since then.
That's why it's never written, not this poem
the one after, and the one after that
those
