And if a girl uses a smilely, doesn't that mean the smilely is a girl? And which one of these spellings of smiley is correct?

And for crying out loud, have fun! Poetry isn't all doom and gloom and misery -- one of its primary functions is to entertain. I don't know why so many people have forgotten that, but it's time to get back to playing with language in all its forms, including those that haven't even been thought of yet.
