Now I'm going to be sitting here for a while having private conversations with that Smiley. Trying to find out what he really means by that expression it's making.

And if a girl uses a smilely, doesn't that mean the smilely is a girl? And which one of these spellings of smiley is correct?

I'd say the second one

smilie...

oh wait, maybe it depends on whether it's British or American English... oh hell, I shouldn't have used that ellipsis... damn, should have started the sentence with a capital... going to ellipse all over the place now, and punctuate with smilies Cool

Smiley's are hermaphrodites. It's not commonly known, but it's true.

It's the same with Miley Cyrus. It's not her fault the name is just too close to smiley.

Edit Its the same...Its the same...

*gasp*

You didn't just... use a possessive apostrophe in a plural?

I meant it to read "it is" true, but that sounded pretentious. The lines can blur...much like hermaphrodites. Crap I did it that way on the third one...

I'm fond of using "affect" as a noun. Because of my run-ins with psychoanalysts. But I'm bad about writing "pysch".

I prefer Demi Lovato. If I even spelled her name right.

Demi might be female. I've learned not to trust appearances. I like her/him/it too.

She looks enough like a female for me. I'm no snob.

And that brings me back to what Leanne said about me:

Why is 'dick' an insulting term? And why is 'asshole'? Those things aren't all bad.

I have both of her pics Billy. She's a left and right side hermaphrodite (very rare). So, depending on the way you look at her you have options.

Who said it was an insult? Is that just your paranoia acting up or does the sun really have it in for you? What was that noise? Hysterical

"You're nothing but a huge dick, you know that?!"

"Why, thank you. And you're a real tight-ass. We should get together sometime."

By the way, in real countries, it's night outside.

(And that was a joke. So don't go giving me Astronomy lessons. And if you don't quite believe it's a joke, just remember, I'm in America.)

Of course it was a joke. You said "real countries" and "America" as if there's some correlation :p

It's Tuesday morning at 9.30am. No sun. Clouds. Hooray, it might rain and put out some fires!

Anyway, the upshot here seems to be -- people aren't all the same.

Embrace diversity. Step outside your comfort zone. Break the rules. Innovate.

And for crying out loud, have fun! Poetry isn't all doom and gloom and misery -- one of its primary functions is to entertain. I don't know why so many people have forgotten that, but it's time to get back to playing with language in all its forms, including those that haven't even been thought of yet.
