L2 and L3 do their job swimmingly
L1 feels a bit clunky by comparison. Shed leaves? Won't catch? I'm a bit too confused to be immersed..have to work too hard to parse the image/gesture

Thanks, I know what I want to say, I'll rethink it and try to get it across. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Ah! are we looking forlornly at bare branches?

Can't bemoan the bare branches, if the leaves were still on they would catch the snow and topple the tree. The trees are right to prepare. I'll get it into one line in good time.

Cats Baton

She composes a
symphony within herself
tails flicker ques chorus.

Arranged Marriage

When the cats come running,
I feel as I do when a beautiful, young
woman smiles.

Only the cats' indifference to me
benefits the relationship.
In cases where the visitors speak with witnesses, they frequently make claims about themselves, their technologies, and their intentions that are obviously absurd, or self contradicting.

This is so sharp

I suggest moving "woman" up with "beautiful, young"

"beautiful, young woman"

Oh, you know me, I have my priorities.

I realize that while it felt spontaneous and sincere as I was making my above comment, like most thoughts that come into my mind, the above is a reshuffling of things, such as the words concerning Al Sharpton in this video:

While this may seem off-topic, I validate it, while not justifying it, by being in the presence of a cat as I type it.

As for women: if I had a gal I'd date it.

Hysterical

In the presence of a cat works for me. As does What I was thinking when I passed my neighbor’s cat. Smile

I've an evolving "door" of around 11 and 15 cats.
Since I can stare at any one of them for hours without offense, their faces are richer and more nuanced and expressive and human to me than human faces.

Recall the Veronica Cartwright version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers with the brief scene with the dog with the human head?
I'm living on an island of Moreau.

One of the cats was born without a tail. I call her Coyote or Mlle. Poopybutthole; but in the face she looks like Abigail Breslin.
Abigail Breslin has plenty of tail. The crude might say a bit too much, from time to time.

Seventh Life

You could say she's a Halloween calico
or the Queen of Black Hearts.
A fearlesss spaceship cadet
always ready to nap on the helm.

Some refer to her past life's
as epic anomalies in multiple timelines.
leading a revolution of felines
depicted in ancient hieroglyphs.

On her seventh reincarnation
wrapped in a dragons costume
curled on the couch remembering
her time as Merlins cat.

She watches trick or treaters
take away her treats.
