they get caught having an affair. or better yet if their spouse gets caught having an affair.
this woman had an affair with someone 40 yr her junior...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100109/ap_o...een_affair
and was asked to resign.
If I understood that artical correctly and what it claims turns out to be true then she should not be allowed to step down. She should most certainly be fired and in public. Any pension needs to be removed and she should be charged with what ever criminal activities they can hang on her. Her assesets need to be impounded untill an investigation can be carried out to see if they were gained through criminal activity or not. I would suspect if the alligations pan out to be true then she won't have much in the way of assets left.
Needs to be treated like everyone else. They are tring to sweep it up quick and get it out of the media fast to overt investagation. JMO
It's the raising funds part that bothers me the most. If it is true then she used her position to do so. That has to be against the law as well as unethical and shows her to be of questionable character and capable of other white coller crimes.

The reported move follows the revelation that she had an adulterous relationship
with a man nearly 40 years her junior — and allegations that she solicited tens of thousands of pounds (dollars) from businessmen to help the teenager launch a cafe.
yep srijantje but if she used her connections in the job to get the funds then she should go. i think benny has a good point.
if it were just for the sex. they'd still hound them out. and i think that would be wrong.

politics while playing it's part took back stage to the religious aspect.
it was all about catholic v protestant,
and it was just as viscous as palistine and isreal. though on a smaller scale.

yeah i thought that was a disgrace, not the blow job.
the way they kicked him out. even if it wasn't a set up which it looked to me like it was.
who wouldn't take a bj from someone who offered. it wasn't as if he fucking raped her.
Well no he did not rape her that is true but he was a public figure, as public as it gets, and with his job goes an implied standard of conduct. Getting head while in office, while in office, while married, while in office and getting cought is a pretty big not to do item. Since you asked, i am pretty fussy about who i let suck my dick.

yeah i know that. but surely the shit he got off hilary would be bad enough on its own then he'd get the shit off the media as well, again deserved, but he was okay as pres, (i think) and wasting hiim just seemed pointless. jmo
i have to say i'd let a rabid dog suck my dick if it asked nice enough :p

They didn't impeach him, he served 2 full terms. They wanted to impeach him the republicans were on a war path. But he did lie on a public broadcast about it - ouch. Most people shrugged it off. The president is only human. I am surprised there wasn't a divorce after his 2nd term was served.

Standards? dude he was at home. His (White) house. Husbands get caught all the time. To go rent a hotel room with the secret service in tow? Right.
If they can't read or write. I wish there were more sex scandals though. We need a president that your average joe can relate to.

is that like fapping
i wouldn't mind the job of quality controller.
back on topic. while i def agree with benny that a pres has to be upstanding.
and morally sound. i think when he got found out, it was enough. and to the person who said he quit he wasn't voted out (sorry for my bad memory) yes he quit but he had to really. did he have a choice. the media were already hounding him out of office everyone and his son were jumping on the bandwagon. the media and public outcry made it impossible to stay. in a way it was constructive dismissal.
