I'm assuming this is some sort of term or phrase with it's own meaning, a meaning I have yet to hear of.

Well it starts with one then another, then another and so forth eventually the numbers are much greater than two. I don't know about the Philippines but the USA averages 12 suicides per 100,000 people a year. There are over 300 million people in the USA, I'll let you do the math on that one. I don't know how you missed the simplicity, but I understand your interpretation and see the humor in it.
