Too much going on in our house over a weekend to sit quiet and do anything half sensible.

Pre-loved.

A new home is sought for our hairy,
but I hasten to add, not scary, old
pet and much loved billy goat.

Good with animals and children, this goat
is easy to feed, clip and shoe. (His hairy
excesses are diminishing now he is old).

Does not like walks anymore, but old
coat, clothes and shoes free with goat.
Semi–trained, but likes beer and rugby. Hairy

“Billy” is free to collect. A genuine hairy old goat.

Poem Seeking Reader

Tired of red roses
and blue violets

If you expect me to compare myself
to a Summer's day, or you feel
that love is in the air, than I am not
the poem for you.

I am humidity and airborne Ebola.
I am rhythm without rhyme,
and the stolen fire of insight.
With me, you will finally understand why
a flower is lonely, and why you lie restless
beneath the moon.
I will not be your Russian nesting doll
for I will never lose myself in you,
though you may in me.
The secret of poetry is cruelty.--Jon Anderson

Wanted: a stud

I need some masculinity
to saunter with me on the beach,
to make some striking offspring,
to stand by me in rain, in sleep,
forgive my dine and dashing.
I need some masculinity
who’s handsome, sleek, and sporty,
who won’t complain when he moves in,
likes to be ridden often.

Please direct apt candidates
to stall 8 in Barry Stables.

Family seeking decanter
badly mislaid by its father.
It is well formed but dinged
up, pressed from highest
grade brass, now tarnished
by smoke and fingers un-
washed. Inlaid near the top
were blue gems, though
possibly they’ve cracked
from their base. Its etchings
were charming like smiling
child with new gifts, though
they too are sure to be dirty.
Inside there’s the markings
that tell the date of its
forming: December 14th of
seventy-six. The insignia
pressed in beside, shows
cracked bottles there topped
by owl and snake. And last it
was saw, it was down at Lucky’s
Cheap Liquor, where it had
laid spilling wine down the
cracks of their doorstep. If
you have found it, please
consider, that we’ve loved it
so long, and would like it re-
turned. Then call 5382461.
Thanks.
