De Gaulle, although a pain in the arse to many (Eisenhower told Churchill ''Get that bum outta here!'') was quite remarkable in that he always knew he would one day get 'the call' to lead his country, a he did when the 5th Republic was created.

As to the show-case idea, I think what I really mean is that the Misc/Fun ones remain as they are, but one be re-badged. Then again, suggestions for change usually come best from those who contribute most, and I am not in that category.

I would but for a) I think the thread should run a little longer, in case others have even brighter ideas b) I'm too lazy c) I don't know how to do polls and d) I'm terrified of Leanne......
