Hello. Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Summer. I am definitely an amateur writer but it's always been my release when a bow and arrow are not available. I'm pretty shy and up until recently I've never shared my poetry with anyone but I just felt like it was time for a change. I'm happy to be here and meet all of you, to share my work, and to do my part by offering my feedback as best I can.

Hi Summer -- glad we can provide a place to express yourself without bloodshed! It's nice to have you here, welcome.

Hi, I'm Jesse; I'm a high school senior from Michigan. I never really got into poetry very much until recently, but now it seems like I can't stop! I'm sure I suck pretty badly, but I'd love to get better.

Hi Summer, notice that Leanne didn't say bloodshed wouldn't happen.
Hi Jesse, I always want to get better too. Hopefully, we can all do that here. Good to have you both here.

Go nuts Rhymes, structure, flow and all that nonsense come in rather handy when you write free verse (which is never, ever free!)

Hi everybody I've been writing poetry for a few months now and decided to look for some online forums to get critiques/feedback. I'm hoping pigpen is as fun as it looks!
