There is nothing more beautiful than life….

This life is so beautiful,

Filled with so much hope and happiness,

The sweet chirping of the birds,

The perennial glaciers, the glowing snow clad mountains

Fill my soul with life and vigor,

Making me to transcend over the horizon

The gushing winds carry with them

The hymns that none can hear but feel

When my eyes are shut.

The trees are waving their slumber arms,

As if in wait for a special friend,

The perennial rivers carry with them

These tired memories,

That can only be left behind on the sands of time…..

Some of the wording in this poem and in another of yours remind me of English as second language. A line like:

Making me to transcend over the horizon.

Though your English is fine in most other places. So how is it?

A very positive life affirming poem, I can't help but agree with the sentiments expressed.
Perhaps it could of been broken up into a couple of extra sentences, especially the first sentence which is extremely long. Probably best not to use the adjective "perennial" twice.
Also trees waving their "slumber" arms is a nice description, but in a poem of so much positivity it doesn't quite seem to fit. The same for "tired memories". Not that slumber and tired are negative words, as such, but less exuberant than the "life and vigour" mentioned earlier in the poem. And you are right.... life is beautiful.

I tend to agree with Sylvia Plath who said something like "nature is a gift to poets who don't have anything inward to share." But that's not fair, that's just preference.

there are some cool parts. I liked the bit about hymns.

A bit too much of it feels cliche. I think poems must, by definition, be anti-cliche-- "the sands of time" is as cliche as it gets.

I look forward to reading more of your stuff!
