frog songs

I love frogs...I am still prone to rescue the frog spawn the gets stranded by retreating pond water I've had a yearly batch of tadpoles to raise since I was about 7yrs. The fascination never wears off...I feed them bits of raw beefBurger once they stop eating slime.
I'm always sad if my pet ducks find my froggy family and start eating them...this yrs batch is safe because sadly Mr Fox got all my ducks.

Needless to say...I enjoyed your poem.

Haiku is the perfect vehicle for amphibians.
