I'm not sure what you're getting at with this poem. "An iceberg melting" doesn't flow well with the rest of it, I had to do haikus in fourth grade..it was trouble for me.

I like the progression of images and elements in this one. Thought this was a good read but perhaps not the deepest in terms of giving me something to ponder over. But I enjoyed it so this is what counts. AJ.

I agree with Claire, I think...she is an ice maiden, not an iceberg (which seems so very...huge!) The thought that comes to my mind is perhaps something like Chione melting...but I favor the classical symbolism....some variant of global warming instead?
