Ah, well that explains a lot. Are you suggesting that our serge is the product of a union where angels left their um place and consorted with the daughters of men?

It explains a few things.

I will return to the Tefilim later (they were house gods in ancient and tribal Israel).
Right now I will just share my 2 encounters I had with with more-than-human beings (whoever they were):

the first anecdote is a very sad one and it is hard for me to tell it because when I remember it, the heavy feelings return too.
But the person I met , deserves to be remembered.

It was Ian Curtis (Joy Division).

oh
I just realize i can only pm that. (which is what i will do) .

what I can share right now with you is this text here:

About upon happening blue to a low linden in oceans of heat

He who ‘s me sadly a wail
lustfully breathing in
the condescence of sneers
of passers-by dis-orientated
by their homes a promise of safety untrue,
so in this now I sat there, almost lying
among and upon a bed that the grass and the herbs and the flowers
so agonizingly and melancholically pretty,
had made for me,
brushing off shivers of fate and lost fortune
with the skeptically smiling hands of my soul
a cry running with a soul of a baby running
and crying oceans of painful why, a babysweet
running away from the napalm of Vietnam,
running crying and dying
I a cry too worked upon working out
a new eau de parfum of a lost case,
by letting fall the essences of wildfruit beauties
I stole from a silently shyly now receiving me meadow.
on a dry red brown linden leaf
a crisp pregnant of
bleak and lazy sighs of a dead Sunday.
totally convinced that I am mostly
wrong in a good way.
Suddenly there is this mood shift
a cloud of black lust covers the smiles of me
pouring down the acid tears of blank despair:
Humming “this is the crisis I knew had to come destroying the balance I kept”
Reminiscing the dark wave of beauty Joy Division has left me with,
Passover indeed but what now? Encaged by
My own BUNKER serenity I for a glimpse of time
I managed to get out into another sunshiny dark,
To fly away from the concentration camps
Of my lover’s jealousy.
I have found my HORSE again, we do beautifully: sweet poison alert!
Oh my Palomino, swing me into the promise of neverworld
FUCK
me good!

---
I know, it perfectly well qualifies for an entrance ticket to the closest booby hatch in my town, but ...
had you met back six monthts from today a person, who hanged himself 30 years ago you might have written above stuff, too.

Well, it was (nope: he IS) Ian Curtis from Joy Division.

the second video on that page is the song (Passover), in which the this-is-the-crisis- line reappears.

the shop gods were not yet created by the Hebrew people. One can inform oneself by giving the Mishna a quick perusal.

Sorry for my Jewish accent here.

@ Billy: so serge is the product of aduck and a female

Now that you mention it, I suddenly understand my fascination (bordering on pathologic) for mallards!
