One Last Tear

After the death of a friend, I have made this poem for him. Enjoy!

Day to night,
the light falls nigh,
Shuttering all that hate.
Running in sight,
Screaming in fright,
Death will meet my doom.
Memories bawl,
Failing to watch,
Now I fall to rot!
The light blooms high,
and whispers too shy,
Now beauty fills my eyes.
One tear drops.
Splashing to nothing,
I let out a smile,
for all eternity.
