never posted yesterday and only just got on now.
i was baking a pie yesterday. meat and potato and it was fucking superb. crusty shortcrust pastry and a perfect filling, today me and addy made some shortbread and again it was a roaring success. you lot live poetry, i fuckin' eat it

Meat and potato pie sounds good to me! I'm not so good at pies - but I made a killer dessert last week that involved a slow cooker, a chocolate cake mix, a jar of cherries and some crushed pineapple - it was decadent.

gonna try and make faux apple pie filling today. using chayote. not sure it'll work though
desserts specially decant ones beat pies hands down when it comes to eating them

I made a chicken pot pie, took the leftovers to work for lunch on Monday. Yum. Made an apple pie not long ago, it was beautiful but too big. No apples there, Bill?
I'm not big on desserts, it's what I have other people make when they ask what they can bring.

A few years back me and my good bud were hell bent on selling fruit and meat pies at the farmers market. We made a number of pretty wacky ones. One of our better ones was apple // raspberry // huckleberry // blueberry pie.
