first off it's a discussion. 2nd i think you'll find all body piercings tats and altering of skin or limbs etc is mutilation. i really can't be bothered showing the definitions.
let me cut your foreskin off or alter your little sisters vagina, if you say no then you'll realize the discussion isn't just about an odd tat here and there. Wink

thirdly why are you spamming this site ? something which is very very naughty indeed Angry

I had heard of female circumcision but knew little about it. I just did some reading (my eyes are still watering) ... o.k, that's just plain nasty, especially due to the fact that it is performed on girls ages 4 to adolencents. Circumcision of baby boys is nasty too but I don't think there is any re-call memory of the pain. At the present there is greater cause for concern with FGC because with the prohibition FGC is going underground, at times with people who have had no medical training, without anaesthetic, sterilisation, or the use of proper medical instruments. Here in Canada male circumcision is no longer performed (thank goodness) unless you ask for it and is also no longer covered by medical.
Religious traditions/beliefs run deep though from what I've read neither the Qur'an nor the Bible demand or mention female circumcision ... so what's up with it?
Thirty years ago when our son was born it was still the norm to have a baby circumcised with mothers more concerned about how odd their child would look to other boys in the changing room, or that they wanted their son to look like daddy. Today, here in Canada most baby boys are uncircumcised.
If you want to have a piercing for enhancement or out right body modification go for it, but I think it should be a decision left for the individual not for a parent to decide. I've never agreed with piercing young children no matter how cute we think they look with earrings.
As for full body modification, I think these individuals are definitely an exception of what is normal. I think there's some underlying issues going on whether it be an extreme need for attention, or identity crisis, or addiction to pain, or what ever ... but if it makes them happy ... go for it!

What I'd like to know is what's this cat's face going to look like when he's 60 or 70 years old? Undecided
