    writers can have happy holidays
    but they write much better 
    if they don't
    so i'm wishing you
    dreadful holidays
    ones filled 
    with the desperate emotions 
    that you need
    
    well
    ok 
    maybe a few ducks 
    but besides the ducks and a stray koala bear 
    that smells like a giant cough drop 
    because she eats eucalyptus leaves all day
    i'm wishing you a wretched and miserable 
    grouping of holidays 
    except 
    of course
    for a seven hundred pound carrot cake 
    and some naked twins 
    of whatever sex you desire

I'm not an angst-ridden poet so wishes for a happy holiday would be more in my line. In two weeks I'm flying off to Malta with my dear one for an 8 week break, I should be amazed if I meet a koala bear there, but if I do I will be sure to include him in a verse.

I met a small koala bear
whilst waking on the beach
he seemed a little lost
and
definitely out of reach.
Perhaps he was a stowaway
from an Ossie flight to the UK
who had lost his grip
half-way through his trip
and landed in beautiful
Malta on the sand in St. Paul's Bay.

Note to Mod. This is not a poem, this is definitely not a poem....this is simply a thought in verse.

ps - your fantasies must be really weird...a seven hundred pound carrot cake? What on earth for?
