The Death of Chivalry
#1
There was a time when men would hold,
the doors for all the ladies.

But then this thing call 'Feminism',
sprung up in the eighties.

When men still tried to hold the door,
the women, they shouted and cursed.

"I can hold my own damn door!"
and hit him with her purse.

Hahaha! Not me, I'm happy for men to open the door and carry my bags as well... but then, I shave my legs too, I probably don't fall into that feminist category Smile
It could be worse

Feminatzis predate the '80's Smile

Cute piece.
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

Thanks. I realize that feminism is much older than the poem says, but it rhymed. I have no other excuse for such a blatant fabrication

I remember when men walked near the road
A protective arm around you
And a coat against the cold.
Now if they attempt it
A pavement waltz ensues
I recommend that you don't bother
You could end up badly bruised.

That's good! And sad - chivalry is so underrated these days, but I appreciate it.

Haha, so true. Now ask a feminist if women should usually win custody battles. Bet she would say yes.
