Sometimes the sum of all human knowledge
is so immense I can’t move my limbs.
Every urban legend, history book and list of additives
on a soft drink can weighs me down like rubble.

at first i wasn't keen on the first line
but after a couple more reads found it perfect.
love the last two lines. the feeling of depression
one gets is solid and given in an original way.
the fear also looms large. reading it is a little scary
because when you do you feel the negativity.
an excellent write jmo
thanks for the read

Wow, this is very, very interesting. Very original take on "the weight of the world", and paralysis of the mind/ soul/ etc. Bravo
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

Thanks Addy

"Paralysis" is exactly the right word for what I was at least trying to evoke.
