"A coward."
#1
I have seen you, my love,
In my innermost dream.
There, you were as elusive
As a reflection on a stream.
As a wind-shaped silhouette
On the morning clouds ...

I'd give my all for a chance
To meet you in a real life.
But in the same time I pray
That I will never meet you.
Because I am afraid of being
Turned down. I am a coward.

A very sad piece RY (so lonely... "wind-shaped silhouette" really drove it home for me)
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

Yes, sad and lonely, but there's also a sweetness in it.
Thank you.
You give to the world when you're giving your best to somebody else.

i like the softness of the poem,
and the harshness. it reads a lot deeper than it looks at first glance.
thanks for the read RY
