Obama slams GOP leaked audio

In a private Chicago fundraiser, Obama expressed his frustration and disdain at Republican party tactics to an audience of supporters, assuming that the press wasn't privy to the audio. It was some of his most candid criticism to date.

"'You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We'll have that debate. You're not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we're stupid?'"

"When Paul Ryan says his priority is to make sure, he's just being America's accountant ... This is the same guy that voted for two wars that were unpaid for, voted for the Bush tax cuts that were unpaid for, voted for the prescription drug bill that cost as much as my health care bill -- but wasn't paid for. So it's not on the level."

I think teapartiers are scumbags and I despise the Republicans who cheer them and tolerate them, so I find myself agreeing with the commentary with a hearty hell yes, but it is also pretty divisive (not that the republicans themselves didn't start this divisiveness game). But what do you think? Is it a good or bad thing that the president was caught saying all these things?
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

i have a feeling obama knew what he was doing.
he knew he was getting across to the American public
what they thought were his true feeling, he was able to slag
down the tea party and basically get away with it on the grounds of, it wasn't public.
he probably believes what he said but he damn well knew it would be aired.
i think it's his way of fighting back the republicans the only way he can. hhe wants to get as much as he can and if he can make
them look like the bastards they are he'l win votes come the next election. (you can guarantee this will be shown over and over again. )

If that's the case how depressing... he can't even say what he truly believes, no matter how justified, and has to cloak it as some kind of "leak" just so he'll have some plausible deniability. The GOP has everyone in the US by the throat.

true but he got what he wanted to say out there, and possibly in a way that has more power.
