The first stanza seems a bit Panglossian, but shakes out into what this best of all possible worlds demands. including that low-key "Needs must" (conventionally suffixed with, "when the Devil drives.")  We tend not to capitalize much these days, but it serves here in place of commas (at the end of lines).  The missing period at the end is also fitting.

To make up a story around it... rent paid (or debt to society) and the sun shines in again.
