So, I was doomscrolling on TikTok today and some guy makes a post about poetry and about his favorite love poem for Valentine's Day and why and - TBH - he seemed pretty clever. Like someone i wouldn't mind hanging around here posting clever stuff. Now I disagreed with him (no surprise, i disagree with a lot of people) but that doesn't really change anything.
We made a couple comments back and forth and I dropped a link to
WWW.PigPenPoetry.com.
My point? I think we should all drop a couple links on TikTok - there are a a LOT of people over there.

This site could easily go viral, and I’m not sure if we’re equipped to deal with the paparazzi
Secondly, I have a low opinion of TikTok and people who frequent that platform.

I already tried Reddit - it really is tough to lassso a fish.
Surprisingly, in the last 10 minutes anyway - I have found more competent poets on TikTok. C'mon - just go drop a link for me!! <smooch>

I don't have tiktok. (Or twitter, or reddit, or instagram, or snapchat ...)
But go ahead and send out links. If we have an influx of members and it becomes more than we can handle, I'll just turn a bunch of y'all purple in a "volun-told" sort of way.

Don't worry. We've got some wiggle room before we would need to resort to drastic measures. Not every new member sticks around for the long term, so it's good to cast a wide net.
