Seeds of Order


So Is-ra-el just recognized a fact:
Somaliland, well- and self-governed, is
and has been now for decades a true State
unlike its pirate parent anarchy
Somalia, which when empires ran away
played racy bait-and-switch to make it seem
a country.  Lately that pandemic fraud
and pandemonium of biting tribes
infects, infests, and robs the civilized.
Somaliland can be a model for
hard seeds of hope inside a rotted fruit,
a pomegranate, as it were, of dross.
So mote it be for Staten Island loosed
from crazed New York, madman-ied, communized,
and Illinois freed from Chicagoland.
