Statistically, the answer is yes.  This is because in good statistical analysis, we remove the outliers.  In poetry, the outliers are what we crave.  It's fine, I am willing to read 1000 bad poems for that one - that one that just sticks with me and forces me to recall it over and over throughout the years

Thanks

I have a really hard time listening to podcasts and talky shows before my mind is off in other directions.  It sounds like it starts with some metal music, you seemed to sing along to, did you make the music? I couldn't concentrate to learn more about it, but it sounds like the lyrics were from a civil war poem.  I like the discussion of using poetry to make music as opposed to all the rules of lyric writing.  But taking the conversation to another website won't work for me, can you make your point here in writing?

The music was from the Alex Harvey Band (1972-1978), and he took a stanza from the 19th century Civil War poem titled Barbara Frietchie (written by John Greenleaf Whittier).

I look at a lot of different poems in the video, with one even going back to the 14th Century. But sorry, trying to put it all into writing would be a bit too much for me.
