My name is Felicity Bloodcock
Johnny Strongpack
is the man for me
not Rupert Shitbolt
no
but
yes
Johnny Strongpack
Johnny Strongpack
you are the man for me
for I declare that
the Shitbolt family
are afflicted defeated greasy and ghastly
with a hereditary taint
and a general
overarching forward degeneracy
whereas and in
pertinent value
and solid and veritable
contradistinction
the noble blood
of the Strongpack family
is ascending now to a divinity
Johnny Strongpack
Johnny Strongpack
come to me
take fair stock now
so stand
and brightly leather
your fleshy monument
to measure the last dimension
of forever
and bring and make
your thick and doughty member
this fair grey day
of our proud December
to have a good and proper
covetous document to remember
to wit
one splendid
mortal blind and
ontological ‘argument’
and ever
being here and now
a ripe and ready fury
with my willing Bloodcock pussy.

The ones in this apparent mode you have been posting would find a niche somewhere.

Look if there were any niches that exist for anything at all or whatsoever anywhere but there is not. There is no such thing as a niche.

There is no niche. There is nobody remotely like me. I am utterly unique. People think that poetry is something other than ordinary speech. I am the only one who knows that it isn't. I am the only one who doesn't try to be poetic.

Poetry is ordinary speech and can operate otherwise. That's how it does operate. Even to say things in plain speech can be made into a style by critics and can be made to have more and more aspects. Books can be written on all the aspects of your poems. People can theorize or simply assert or believe that they are antipoems, others can argue whether they can be catalogued that way or not. They can take your own comments as part of the myth of your style and that is your style. They can whether you are interested or not. That is what is happening.

But I am not self conscious. That is my point. I am the only one who is not self conscious. I am not interested in people and their reactions or ideas. Those things mean nothing to me. They are nothing to me. I am being. I am not performing. Nobody cares about what anybody says. If they claim to - they are lying. They have genitals, stomachs, mouths and wallets. That is all that they have. What is happening is that people are looking to supply their genitals, mouths, stomachs and wallets. That is all that is happening.

There is no 'But' for you.
As for me, there are only buts. That's how poems are made when I write them and post them. There is always but. This is the very performance. I have no choice. The self is no other than this play of buts. The pauses aren't my choice. They are compulsions. They are anything I call them. My whole being is compulsions. They are love but actually they are compulsions disguised as love. Which is how poems are compulsions as poems. People chip away and add this and that. The poems simply come and that's it. This is the same many people, they seem to experience it as time.

Why is it that my voice is immediately unique and recognizable as belonging to me only?

While many an anyone could write this way, most don't. Those who do, write about happenstance of the furniture of that particular premises.
Poetry is competition. Or poetry is expression. These poems are creating the illusion of not being aesthetically structured from an awareness of what is typically considered aesthetically structured. Their techniques are uber-rationalism, poststructural radical romanticism, radical immediacy, persona-ego satire, cultural blasting.
There's nothing unique, there is denying. Not denial. There is the conscious pointing at fabricating. Of online persona and community, of social ego, of poetic voice, of unmasking animal instinct-masked-as-intention.

Poetry is anything that anybody says that one can remember. All of human memory is Poetry. Anybody can write any way they want, but they don't. They don't say memorable things. I do.

I can read these poems and forget them. That is their charm. I could read them backtoback. Wait a few months. Read them again as though I never read them before.
In that, they are affective, rather than effective. They do their thing while reading them.

You can have it both ways. I read the poems and they were agreeable as I read them. Then you were agreeable. Adding aspects that are agreeable. You can have it multiple ways. You can perform and not perform. Relate and not relate. Not care and care. Whatever you do can find a dynamic with something else, like me, or the evolving texture of an internet thread. Whatever questions asked are the evolving of the thread and multiple threads, no matter what if any agenda there is behind the questions and statements. This experience is compulsive for me. My mind is saying multiple things at once, as there are many, many possible ways to respond. There is a tendency to a perception of a sensation of a flow state through which what I am writing now compared to what I could be writing is taking place. You can make assumptions about those things. However you respond, I will repeat my same manner, as that is what I typically do. Or maybe I won't. Most likely I will. There is charm in novelty as much as repeating variations of the same song.

I don't know what you are saying - or why you are saying it. There is nothing here to respond to.

I can and will respond whether you respond or not. I may do it in private or behind your back. In any event, I will. And you will be an affective-quality stimulus in what appears to be memory. Not your poems. Your poems are different. They are similar enough to each other to be a style. They are stylish enough to have a niche interest. People who use culture, or culture uses them, as a broader memory, won't remember these poems. A niche would. Whether or not cultural people have good or bad taste, their judgment is what is either destroyed or played with to advance interest in poems.

I don't know why you would talk at me like this. I am not interested in people. I care nothing for them. What I am getting is that you are saying that you depend exclusively and entirely upon a recieved convention and technique that involves arbitrary moral limits and that you cannot concieve of a manner that does not do that. That explains why you are at pains to describe/situate it inappropriately.

It doesn't matter what you know. You don't need to know what I'm saying and doing. Compulsion allows for situations, this compulsion keeps the game rolling, which keeps subjectivity going which is the poetry.
I am the poetry and the situations. The situations are based on conventions and poetry is based on conventions. Conventions change, they don't disappear. Poetry is convention. Outside of convention, whatever poetry is there is the making of conventions regarding that.
You are convention to me. I can make anything into convention, I don't have to try. I do try, which is what makes the poetry poetic rather than not, which is convention playing with itself, repeating itself, stretching itself. Even assumptions are part of this. This is compulsion. Compulsion as magic. Magic as arbitrary absolute. This is the love that is conflict. This is compulsion.

It is disrespectful what you are doing. It is entirely exploitative. It is a sort of self congratulatory word salad that you keep imposing but without any purpose beyond self gratification.

Even though you have said that my self narrated poem has no meaning, and you continue to post things where you are the narrator, your writing still has value. Please take a second to reconize we are all important in our own ways, and that every poet on this website deserves equal respect. Have a great afternoon.
