All these faces I keep wherever,
I keep to remind myself of you.
This writer merely has your hair,
this painter has your eyes,
this actor has the manner by which
you often stare me down,
and such parts combined by fancy
do you more justice than fallible memory
or, much worse, direct mementos,
portraits that could never capture
what time's passage never conquers.
All these faces are merely windows
some keep open to gaze at the stars
while you are, in fact, their light.

All I can think about is
His celebrity status
All his disgusting antics
Racist sexist hate comments
Inciting fear and anguish
But no not as a fascist
As his face carved in pumpkins
Being crushed

Crushers
Celebrity crush?
It must surely be
that pair so beautiful,
so debonair,
Diana Rigg and Patrick Macnee
Avengers before tights
(on one of them,
at least).
How could one not idolize
the slender feminine
yet bravely powerful
and wise, those cheekbones
with such knowing eyes
and mannered masculinity
of ever-dapper Macnee
so proper yet so light
his deeply shadowed smile
world-weary energy
so very, very British
but so straight.
