I don't need a God
To tell me to stay sober.
Family and self love.
I've been doing sober and I'm jaded about the monopoly on sobriety and faith when it comes to mental health.
What you think?
Only one thing is impossible for God: To find any sense in any copyright law on the planet.

Sobriety is the path you chose each day. Family and self love are the foundation of that path. God can be the parent you don't want to disappoint. Whatever works to hold yourself accountable.
That's my atheist take.

I think this is far too complex and important a subject for you to try to cram it into seventeen syllables. I'd prefer you sit down with pen and a thick notepad and freewrite every thing you think of till your exhausted. Somewhere in there you'll figure it out. Once you do, maybe let sobriety play Muse for awhile.

Thanks Tiger it's frustrating how crucial I feel like sobriety is right now for my mental health, happiness, healing journey ect. All the help and groups I'm from center around a "creator" "addiction" some type of shame response. I'm just like the last thing I want to do is self shame and being sober isn't tough. I just want a community. Any framing like the mental health issue it is. Framing with God almost is a set up to self shame doing more damage to people.
I'll do that.
