August Re:members

Hello members. An FYI that I have not forgotten the Monthly Themed Prompts I had promised. I wanted to back off a little after April to get a feel for what inspires and what does not. I don't think the "1st Annual Poems..." platform works because we already have annual themes where anyone can post anytime they want. So I think the annual thing is unsustainable. I would much rather members PM me with unique ideas. This August I would like to try something different. Write a poem inspired by a Hog that is no longer physically with us. There is no need to name names if you choose not to. We all know who we miss, and why.

Comments, crits and kudos are all welcome. (though I will be doing minimal moderation out of respect for the subject)

Posts poems as new replies to this thread.

Remembering Your Reliquary

When I see some cedar
I will think of you,
whether tree, or tiny box,
that is what I'll do.

Cedar held a special place
in your heart, I knew-
so when I see some cedar
I will feel that, too.

Lovely.
Good to see so much from you recently.
