I came in on the game just as the French began their comeback. I realize they had 80 minutes before that to win the game, but that this was decided by that damnable creation, the penalty shoot-out, was just too much. I'm sure it's a hallowed tradition, but it puts the entire team's fate on one team member. Don't seem like the best way to decide these things. |
