Computer question
#1
Hello pigpen members,

Karate Kid asked a computer related question in the music thread, but so far we mods do not have the technology knowledge to answer.  (I don’t know if Todd has the answer? Did we hear from Todd?) So I am placing the question here, with Karate’s permission, on the off chance that one of y’all might know the answer? Thank you!

I can see them in Chrome but not Safari (I posted from Chrome), and I mainly only use Safari. Do you know if there is any fix for that, because I don't really like using Chrome.

Safari->preferences, Security tab, "show cookies" button. Type youtube into the search, select them all, and remove them.

Unfortunately, this didn't work. I don't have a "show cookies" button. Or maybe I do, but I can't find it. Thanks anyway.

I use Safari on an iMac. The only place I see anything about cookies is under the Preferences>Privacy tab. Mine has the box unchecked to block cookies.

No idea if this is relevant, but I can see the videos in Safari.

Put your site format into Light (Archive) Mode.
Down there at the bottom of the screen.

Yeah, that really didn't work.

Mine's unchecked, too. It must be something on my end but I'm not computer literate enough to figure it out. Until then, Chrome it is.

Issue solved (I think). Thanks to everyone who responded.

When I go to a post with videos, there is white space for about five minutes, then the videos appear.
When I got to Archive Mode, the videos appear immediately, and I can watch them, but I can't post anything.
When I go back to regular and post a video, another five or so minutes of white space, then either the video I posted appears, or my screen locks up for another five to ten minutes or so.

That is always the way with me.
