Is the adjective excellently required at all? In a piece as beautifully simple this, such adornments aren't really needed. Other than that minor gripe, this poem is divine. Thanks for the read Ris.

I really enjoyed this interpretation of "starry eyes"
 . Plus, this has to have one of the happiest first lines to a poem I've read
