Of Heroes

Has anyone else noticed
how much Kyle Rittenhouse
resembles Audie Murphy?
Fresh-faced, “aw shucks”
American.  Before he
became a movie star
one very good young man
not to stand in front of
if you were a fascist.

Hadn't planned on posting this one, but it's been so quiet...

Thanks for sharing,
My first reaction was to argue Kyle Rittenhouse as a hero, it makes me angry that they're both kids, angry at the adults who put kids in these positions. Kids being congratulated for killing. Bravery and foolishness go hand in hand though don't they? I would be crying that my son is still alive and calling him stupid at the same time.

Hey duke-

The vast majority of real heroes never make it on the news, never see em on TV, and there are countless heroes working tirelessly, everyday, without seeking reward, or recognition.

I have had the personal honor of knowing a couple; selfless individuals who know how to make the world a better place.  They have inspired me to try to be a better person.
