          How Man Learns


If GOD created the Universe,
He doesn't know how . . . 
and if he does,
that's no concern of mine, . . . unless.
And if it's possible that he did all this
(and perhaps somewhere has done better)
and doesn't know how, or even know it at all,
then there's still no concern for me.

        This is how a man learns that gods can
              be negotiated with.

Perhaps this universe just seemed like a good idea at the time. Uncertainty over how the idea might work out may have created an opportunity for our participation in the "negotiations."

That said, shouldn't the poem include women?
