Jealousy

Eric once worshipped his neighbour’s dog
Just to wind-up God.
But he felt bad, to make God sad
So promised to be good.

Then every day, Eric would pray
And ignore that stupid dog.
So it raised its paw, pointed a claw
And smote him where he stood.
