shadows ripple off glass
            across tile, citric scent
their faces blank, a face is
                     a color washed
            of woven silk
and hiding in the clothing racks
                                forgone game
count to
           blank faces
haunting touch, threatening teeth
                     or smile
shadows ripple or shadow dances
in the mirror, touching blank
how are you, feeling blank
                                face that sunken
skin, those waving arms
                     me
                                no no no
silly owl
                                we used to
sunshower glittery air, have a good one
                     some eucalyptus
                                stifled song of
a visitor or few
care for coffee, christmas lights
          streetlights or lights flicker on
they used to
           contoured face, blank gaze
backseat gazing         what
                     well, yes
a blue green blur, web of light
           rearranging
salt in air, simmering stovetop
rearranging, salty air
           footsteps' pattern
                      finally
stupid question, stupid question, stupid
                               drifting mote

Wow. This is really cool! I love the set up you chose, it would lend itself well to art poetry. I confess I was a little confused about the topic. You moved around a lot and I got kinda lost when you brought up the owl and the sunshower glittery air, but you use a lot of FANTASTIC imagery. I liked it a lot even though I couldn't really tell what you were talking about.
