In the comedy of race, whenever someone brings it up, someone gets angry, someone feels guilty, someone feels dangerous, someone feels in danger, and everyone's resentful. . . . Since intelligence and activities go in different directions, there's no reason to assume America or the British or Africa or African-America or China or India should be going in the same direction or that intelligence should be judged by what you're intelligent about. . . . I for one am very, and proudly, intelligent in childish things and never intend to take on the white man's burden, whether that white man be Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Cortez or Tucker Carlson. Though I would hoist Erin Burnett, and maybe Lisa Boothe, on my shoulder if I could get away with her.
