post any links to the uk recently releasing files on ufo's and generally discuss them.

there's talk that some of the cover ups were hoaxes set up by churchill. as of yet i can't find a list of released docs. but i'll search later.

the real question is;
were any of the sightings genuine?

I did. Big-ass delta-wing stealth-bomber-lookin one, about 4-5 years ago. Naturally i was the only one outside @ the time w/out even a camera phone. I walked out to my car for something, and the only reason I looked up/around was that there was an almost inaudible hum (like the stereo/TV being on but no audio playing). Anyway, I looked up and watched it slowly come my way from the other end of my neighborhood, stop, pivot 180 degrees, and fly off the way it came. (i'd guess 250-400 ft altitude), close enough for me to see a little detail - it had a weird scoop-looking thing @ the bottom-center.

anyway - call me a liar, call me crazy, it happened. fyi i grew up on military bases, i'm quite familliar with stealth bombers. it wasn't one.

EDIT: I guess i should have mentioned that this was at LEAST 3x the size of any stealth bomber.

lol I've never quoted myself from one forum to another. a new level of laziness i suppose. anyway, I've got no reason to lie about it; i think my sighting was genuine.

i can't say as i've seen anything that couldn't be explained.
usually shooting stars. once saw a shimmering thing way up in the air through a heat haze with this throbbing sound.
it was there for an age. eventually it came lower and i realized it was a helicopter. i was so glad i hadn't run into the house shouting
"there's a ufo out there "
