One day I’ll see you (cheep cheep)

One day, I’ll see you
at Euston station,
and the sweet chestnut*,
will be leafing again

and heaving again,
full foliaged, thrushes
and nightingales will be cheeping again.

One day I’ll see you, on a cold russet morning,
and the winds of May will be weeping again.

The sweet chestnut is a common species in the royal gardens

I love the image of the trees "heaving" with foliage in the late spring. This is lovely.
And so it goes :-)
